 Sanded 300 grit to unknown old finish

or medium course steel wool

Applied NGR. yellow. red and brown

Brushed polyurethane waterborne

2nd coat of polyurethane.

 Sprayed 3rd coat of polyurethane. LVLP SPRAYGUN. Thinned poly 10% tap water

Final finish.

REFINISHED OLD ROCKING CHAIR.

ALL SAFE.

 NGR  & WATERBORNE POLYURETHANE 

No space. No problem.

3 coats of semi-gloss clear lacquer # without NGR

2nd coat of spraying lacquer-30 sheen.Scuff sanding (400 grit) before spraying my "3-in-1 faux fini".

Marble-Crackle-Moonpearl Fini.

 Surface prep - start at 80 - 220 grit before applying stain, pore filler and lacquer # buffing/polishing - from 600 grit to finest steel wool (0000) using mineral spirit (wet sanding)#Goudey wiping stain & combination of NGRs#3 coats of lacquer...
